India Taj Mahal and Tiger Safari Tour – Bandhavgah & Kanha
- Taj and Tiger Tour is a comprehensive and tailormade itinerary providing the must-do places on a trip to India. From Delhi, guests drive to Agra by surface and witness the Taj Mahal followed by a city day tour.
- The next stop will be Bandhavgarh National Park, guests will experience an India train journey overnight to reach Umaria which is the closest railway station to the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.
- On Arrival at Umaria, our representative will assist guests to the vehicle waiting and guests will drive 45 minutes to reach the resort in Bandhavgarh. After freshening, guests will proceed for the first safari in Bandhavgarh national park.
- For the next two days, guests will be assisted by the local naturalist on morning and afternoon safari. These jungle safaris on a 4×4 jeep are the best way to experience the flora and fauna while searching for the big cats.
- After Bandhavgarh, guests will proceed to Kanha National Park by surface, staying 3 nights at a resort in Kanha Tiger Reserve.
- Total 5 jungle safaris with a local naturalist to experience the forest. On the 4th day guests will depart for Raipur and take a flight to Delhi.

Detailed PROGRAM
Day by Day Plan
Day 1: Arrival Delhi
On arrival at the airport, a representative from our company will meet you in the arrivals area and arrange for transportation to the hotel. Hotel overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi – Agra (203 KM by Road Journey)
Drive to Agra after breakfast. Check into your hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Agra, including the Agra Fort and Itmad ulla’s Tomb. Evening free. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Agra – Umaria (Overnight Train Journey)
Arrive at Taj Mahal early (Closed on friday). Transfer to the train station in the afternoon to catch the train to Umaria. Overnight onboard the train.
Day 4: Umaria – Bandhavgarh (35 KM by Road Journey)
Early arrival in Umaria; meet our agent upon arrival; and travel to the Forest resort. You can unwind in the morning, then in the late afternoon, we’ll take you on a safari in the national park. Stay the night in a resort for wildlife.
Day 5: Bandhavgarh National Park
Morning and evening Jeep safari to the national park. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 6: Bandhavgarh National Park
Day 7: Bandhavgarh – Kanha National Park (250 KM by Road Journey)
Drive to Kanha National Park the following morning after breakfast at the resort. Check in to the wildlife retreat upon arrival. At a wildlife retreat, spend the night.
Day 8: Kanha National Park
Jeep jungle exploration in the morning and evening. Stay the night at a wildlife retreat.
Day 9: Kanha National Park
Morning and evening Jeep jungle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight stay at wildlife resort.
Day 10: Kanha National Park – Raipur (200 KM by Road Journey) – Delhi
Morning after breakfast at the resort, drive to Raipur airport to board flight for Delhi.
Upon arrival at Delhi drop you at international airport to connect flight for onward destination.
